Choose a conversation topic
A topic gives a conversation a starting point without deciding every reply. We group character ideas by the kind of exchange you want: a question, a shared task, a relationship, or an invented situation.

Begin with one question
Give the character enough context to answer the question you actually have in mind. A fictional travel planner, for example, needs to know whether you are imagining a weekend in a city or an expedition through an invented world.
For an ordinary brainstorming exchange, ask for a few options and explain what matters to you. For roleplay, add who you are in the scene and why you have brought the question to this character.
Choose how the character approaches it
An assistant-style character may organize a task into steps. A reserved companion may ask a question before suggesting anything. A playful character may take the exchange in an unexpected direction.
Use the introduction and personality tags to choose a voice for the conversation. You can also create a profile with a specific role and opening rather than trying to fit an unrelated character into it.
